Dr. Ellen Singh, VMD

I have been fortunate to work with wonderful clients, their pets, veterinarians and support staff over the years, all of whom helped shape my vision for starting Metropolitan Mobile Vet in 2016. My goal for starting my own house call practice was to be able to provide each pet and their family with its own unique health care plan and experience. I truly believe that by seeing pets in their own home, I get to know owners and their pet's in a way that allows me to provide the best individualized care and meet the personal needs for each animal.

My love for animals began at a young age, growing up on my family's farm in Pennsylvania. From as early as I can remember, I shadowed my father, also a veterinarian, as he treated large and small animals. These experiences led me to study Animal Science at Pennsylvania State University, and go on to complete my veterinary medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Since graduation, I have practiced in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Sydney, Australia.

When I am not working, you can find me spending time outdoors, cooking and traveling with my husband, our two young daughters and our dog, Harper.
